My camp has a DJ booth with a pair of projectors aiming at some white space to either side. In trying to keep with the principles of BM, can/should we project a DJ's logo occasionally while that DJ is playing? Is there like some 'level-of-fame' point where this stops being appropriate? If the DJ is a full timer who earns a living off their name, then no, but if it is just a hobbiest, then yes? Oh ePlaya magic 8-ball, show us the way....
A dj's logo, yes. The logo of the dj who is playing, who will play, or who has played in this booth, no. You're probably going to get in trouble if you use Infected Mushroom's logo, but Daft Punk is totally the event's bitch...

Remember, you're just a make-believe soldier in an artificial army.
you do know there are VJ's at Burning man, people who use those white spaces as there canvas, and make live mixed video's that match the music, and crowd.
Just saying a real person at the controls goes a million miles further than a dumb ass looping DVD, this isn't a down town night club is it? it's about creative expression, right...
