I randomly see on various posts the topic of a "Fast Pass" for Exodus. Does such a thing really exist or is it a Burning Man (urban) Legend?

No such thing. Gotta get in line like everyone else.

If you want to meet some of the nice men and woman in uniform, sure, try to leave by point 1. Maybe when they are searching your vehicle you will earn a chance to wear those neat metal wrist bands and get a free ride too.

There is an exclusion zone around BRC. If you are outside the city and not on Gate Road you are trespassing. If you are lucky you will talk to Perimeter staff and get an escort to where you need to be. If you give attitude or are simply unlucky, you will have an encounter with the BLM Rangers - get a trespassing ticket, and all the assorted benefits of a LE encounter.

You would expect that an event would have a special gate for law enforcement, emergency vehicles, portapotty pumpers. No way no how would you have access. What you really want to do is fly in and out in a private plane with essentially zero luggage. There is even a commercial charter company if you don't have your own plane and know how to fly at altitude and land at an itinerant airstrip.

Many of the contributors to eplaya are very experienced. But we can be snarky when virgins ask these type of questions. Enjoy your exodus!

It's not a Fast Pass, but rather they make all the lanes "Fast Pass Lanes" at 10AM on Sunday, the day of the Temple burn. Only 15 minutes wait and you're out. They then reopen the Fast Pass Lanes on Tuesday after the burn.

And, it is only a few hundred feet from the law enforcement compound. (Driving out of BRC through point 1 is trespassing.) Only needed LE once in 4 years at point 1, only took 1 minute and 3 LE vehicles responded.

I once flew along and then into the little airport out at the tip where you land after passing over the scrub-bush/swamp. They do build well there. You could barely see the tunnel entrance/exit. They put the subway in after I was last there, but I expect they've built the stations to the same hidden-from-plain-sight standards?
