So I am building a dome. Recommended off the main prep page as "designed by a veteran ranger". This dome in fact: http://geometrydome.com/inst04a.html
Seems easy enough. However, there is a bit of glossing over in said instructions at a key step. In panel 4/6 (for those of you following along) there is a moment where you need to add some cross tied rope support to the struts of the roof, making a very elementary radial pattern. This serves a structural purpose, and also keeps your covering from blowing about as much. The narrator says, no doubt as someone who ties knots to keep his hands busy at social events, just tie these struts together.
I am what most would consider a very junior knot tier- I've tied a hitch and even a half hitch before, but I still have to look it up. Does anyone have suggestions as to which knots I should use to achieve this here structure.
Thanks
Snarf.
