The picture doesn't really show, but it has a 16" barrel. It is an FEG rifle, but I have no idea when it was imported. It originally came with a thumbhole stock, so I imagine after the 1994 federal ban. I added the pistol grip, butt stock and hand guards, thanks to the California ban. Since it had to be registered as an "assault weapon", it didn't need the thumbhole. It's just a weird feature, that didn't affect the performance...just peaked my curiosity.

If that photo is the way it was imported, it is a post-ban rifle.

Since the rifle it is based on was a 12.6" barrel, I think that they used the shorter original gas tube arrangement.

That model is a continuation of a line manufactured specifically for the usa.
They are said to be well made.

I don't think blackwater exists anymore.
Some of those photos are from some of the sixty or so PMCs active with the usa now.
At least one is seal training.
Often origin and association is hard to tell.
The cia is known to have their own military active in pakistan now.

MelanieJane stayed the night with us last Thursday! Friday morning I took her out shooting. She'd not fired a gun but for her father's .22 almost 30 years ago. She fired the Bushmaster XM15-F2S (.223), Carbon-15 (AR15 pistol, .223), Ram-Line Exactor (.22LR), Glock 17 (9mm), and the Ruger P-345 (.45ACP).
Recoil was not an issue for her whatsoever!
She loved it!
