Traditionally the lesser known access to these have been at centercamp ..I hear now they are moved somewhere between 5:30 and dandilion or 4:30 Esplinade..lastly The camp selling the Burningman T-shirts has been moved for conveinance to our Birgins and to eliminate the projected bottleneck at the exodus as to move the drive thru shirt sales to the area around 3 plaza and the center street annex.....has anyone else heard anything about this?..and how much are the shirts this year? Is it true the Post office will be giving seating vouchers for reserved seating to the Burn on Saturday? how early must you sign up for the prefered seats and how much will THAT cost? I know that laminants cost money to make but isnt that covered in the price of our ticket? can I take the money offa my taxes next year for supporting the arts or is it recognised as a federal donation to the US POST SERVICE? Im confused?

I'm not sure where you got your information but I represent an international organization which bought the exclusive t-shirt rights for the Burning Man event, and, in fact, any event that has any combination of the words, Burning and/or Man. Our lawyers are prepared with the proper paperwork to demand a cease and disist order. Bootlegged t-shirts will be confiscated at the gate. Please be prepared for this small inconvience at entry, and have all t-shirts out and visible for the gate staff. As for the ATMs, inorder to avoid the crime and depravitiy found in most large cities today, all financial institutes have been moved out to the safer suburbs of the trash fence. This year, inorder to avoid commercialism, the Org has instituted a form of payment exclusively for the event, called "Burner Bucks." These can be used, just like regular money, to buy swag accessories, refreshments and loyalty in the city and out on the playa. Regular money will no longer be accepted by most establishments, and will, like bootleg t-shirts, be confiscated at the gate. Your cooperation is appreciated. Most of these new regulations and rules can be found in the recent Survival Guide Sunday supplement section, which should be mailed out sometime this fall.

The trash fence has been left out of this years burn- as it clashes with the color scheme- So the ATMs couldnt be there.. Im quite sure they can be found in the plazas along with the other customer service camps- Bank of America will be however close to the previous location of the trash fence line- but will only host there curtesy drive thru Bank camp until Friday nite- and closes at 10 pm for respect to some Hippy Artist installations elaborate disco and firework marathon- and BBQ- the ATM drive thru can be found next to a ginormous western Bull theme sculpture that helps tell everyone where they can pay for number one BBQ that is prepared for us by some of the people in Renos BBQ cook off simultaniously as the event Rib cook off going on in Reno same time as Burningman- The resturant and Bof A drive thru is a genious idea- in order to create this customer perk -Reno Ites and Rib cookers and all their familys were givin free tickets and entry to event- In order to incurrage patronage - there will be a scratch off given for every purchase and use of machine- free tickets will be awarded to some 1000 people who get the winning scratcher or can guess how many people actually came this year

Now that the BLM has relaxed the number of people allowed to attend to the increase of 100,000..and the fences are down- open camping has been designated for walk and drive in campers in the 10 oclock to 2 oclock area behind the Temple. The temple will be selling bags of rice and releasing butterflys -mylar balloons may be purchased 4 hours before it will burn.

When entering the Playa for the new camping or to hit the resturant ATM- one is to come in at the entrance after the 13 mile- dont forget to turn on your lights and to follow speed limit of 20 miles per hour. Drinking an open containers are permitted once you are on the desert floor- limit one alcholic beverage per rider-
If lost a few BRC escort vehicles maybe located just honk your horn or call the front gate on your cell phones. All camping in the 10 to 2 is free due to last minute federal regulation. Dogs must be licenced

personally I feel its about time- The event should be free anyway- Im glad there will be something to eat- a reasonable easy to locate ATM location and cool shirts ,bumperstickers, and apparently all the odds and ends you need to get thru the week- The Greeters and escort team is easy to spoit for there black uniforms- remember
