Using Pallet Wrap to Cover 6V Dome

We are in the process of finishing up the build of our dome and now moving on to the covering. We very quickly realized this is a slightly bigger undertaking than we originally had thought.

I have seen a lot of posts about using billboard, but given the size - will this be a pain?

I was contemplating using plastic pallet wrap. Has anyone ever tried using that to cover a dome? I figured it would look really cool in various colors and actually end up being incorporated into part of our art project

If you cover it in saran wrap it's going to be like a greenhouse in there.

just use stretch fabric in various colours, it works fine.

I did this in 08. We had a 20' dome, and we covered about 3/4 of it. All the fabric was cut into 10' lengths for manageability, then we tied a knot in the corner, and zip tied it to the dome, stretched it in place, and applied more zip ties. repeat process until the sunny side of the dome is covered. and you're done.
