Alright, what camps (registered or otherwise) are planning on camping in the 5ish to 7ish range on the dial? We know you're out there, on ring road or tucked away behind Center Camp… This thread is for camps to announce their locations and intentions… tell us who you are, meet your neighbors!

BIF - the Bureau of Intrepid Fertility (formerly Mindshaft), will be around there. Inner Circle @ about 8:40. Look for two big murals out front, the small art car 'Splash' and the Stimulus Tree.

By night, hand-tossed, wood-fired pizzas using a novel oven design that reaches 750F+ (as hot as the best commercial ovens).

Because of generous placement, we have a few spots for new members. We have very little formal structure in our group - no scheduled kitchen or cleanup shifts, no mandatory dues. That said, we tend to be pretty hard-working - last year, pretty much everyone at some point organized a shave-ice giveaway, or helped with pizza, or engaged in some performance art. So if this sounds like you - send a message!

This is our 10th year as a camp, the aluminum (?) anniversary. We plan to get extremely festive. Come on by!

Costco Soulmate Trading Outlet will be returning to our Black Rock City franchise[1] this year on Rod's Road around 4:30.

Some claim it's our 14th year, but I think that Costco has been trading souls for all eternity, or at least since Babylon.

I discovered Hair of the Dog last year. They'll be back close to where they were last year, kind of a confusing part of addresses, 3:00 and Rods Road or 5:30 and A? Something like that. I spent so much time there last year. It was funny to be by all the cranes and forklift storage instead of pretty shiny things. I love the backstreet industrial dive bar zone.

Careful what you ask for: BRC Weekly is doing a solo camp again this year*, and we're on Rod's Road @10:15 (just close enough to the Esplanade for the fun but not quite close enough for all the idiots...)

Hi! Beez Neez Brew will be at 5:45 and Foxglove.
This is our first year as a theme camp! We're all (or at least mostly; ) about Bikes, Beer, and Blues. We plan to do at least one homebrew session during the burn and listen to anything true blues, inspired by or influenced by the blues. And yes, we realize that's pretty much all music.
Look for the hops flower lantern under a tower and friendly Oregonian faces. If you're interested in the home brew, ask for Meesther Goodbar.

The Black Rock Beacon, the longest-running daily newspaper in Black Rock City, 1:15 on the Inner Circle. Come by to hang out, discuss the news of the day, tell us stuff that we want to know about, and relax in our shade structure overlooking Center Camp. We'll be open pretty close to 24/7, and we love to meet our neighbors and hear about your camps and what you think is cool and what isn't. Who knows, you may get quoted!

ArtCar Camp will be located at Rod's Road and 2:00, right across from Center Camp and near BMIR. We'll be exhibiting "daily driver" artcars in the used car lot! There's also talk of screening some films (definitely Harrod Blank's artcar films but also some others.) More info coming soon!
