EDIT: In the main sale, did CC name have to match the name of the person registering for the ticket? I would assume this would not matter this time around since the tickets are non-transferable, but you never know.

The August 1t pre-registration window for the August 3 open sale does not require entering any cc info. My understanding is that the name on the card used to make purchase must match the order name.

with at least 7,000 people from low income/STEP/extra1000 alone needing to get their tickets from the box office id imagine they will be experiencing record numbers.. .. add in the international and people intentionally going will call and its probabably gonna be super busy for em...

perhaps if they plan on some radical changes for ticketing next year theyll learn some stuff..

Not really - it's limit 1 per person. Get pre-paid cards for anyone not currently not holding a credit card.

Easier said than done. Possible, but a pain (and is exactly what I'm doing).

Yesterday it was on the channel 8 news in Reno that more tickets were being released for $390....which I'd pay if I could just go get a ticket at the Melting Pot. Hint! Hint!

I kind of like that everyone has the same type of access to tickets. In-Person ticket distribution is very unfair to those of us who live 1000's of Miles from BRC!
