Hello i wanted to throw at you the idea of doing a nose picking camp (nose cleaning, lubing). Is anyone interested? It would have to be sanitary, we would use finger condoms or somthing. I have never been to burning man but desire to and have had this idea for a while. let me know what you think and we could possibly get a committee started.

As far as I know those finger cots are not medical grade. You're going have to bite the bullet and buy gloves. Or gift 1500 bottles of nasel saline.

Actually, we have a "sinus washer" here at home. Might be handy to take next year to wash out those cement boogers, but I dunno if I would create Booger Camp. Unless maybe there was some serious alcohol vaporization going on.

Well, now that I give it more thought, a nose cleaning station might be a good idea for something like Heebeegeebee healers camp. In other words, maybe not worth making an entire camp around the idea, but it might be something nice to have at the healer camp.

Now having said that ... is water going to be involved? How much? What are you going to do with it? If only 4oz of water is used in the process, that is 100 gal for every 3200 people seen. Interesting moop problem too. Might be a burn-saver for some people, just work the logistics through first.

Well, I suppose if you collected them all together into one big ball, you could call it art. Still doesn't solve the pack-out problem ... hey, wait ... are burning boogers toxic?

Camp Effluvia! They could take care of "eye gunk", the white stuff that forms in the corners of your mouth, boogers, zits, toejam ... the possibilities are nearly endless! I think we should staff it with 14yo boys.

Burn boogers, why pack them out?

there's actually a device to wash out ones nasal passages with salt water, (or cayenne pepper if you're Cajun) sold at your better health food & yoga shops.

Yeah, we have one of those here at home. That is what I was getting at, if it takes 4oz of water per boogerectomy ... if you perform 3200 of them, you burn through 100 gal of water.
