Pappy's Master Bait Shop Needs Pictures and Stickers

Hello!!

As you may have heard, Pier v.2 is coming back to BRC. It's a little different though, we're adding some stuff because, well you know as David Bowie said, ch-ch-ch-changes...

Anywhoo.... I need some stuff from the Burner Community--

1) Fishing pics-- do you want a picture of you, your grandma, your adorable child, etc in the bait shop? Send me a picture of your greatest catch (we prefer fish but will allow for a little creative license as well) You can email pictures either through here or directly to me at cheshire775@yahoo.com.

2) STICKERS!! We want STICKERS! Burning Man Camps, Art Projects, random funny or artsy stickers you've made or have collected at the bottom of your camelback- I really want to have as much of the burning man population represented in the Bait Shop. Please PM me if you have some stickers for me and I'll shoot you an address where you can send them.


3) IDEAS! Ok I have a lot of ideas swimming around my head, but I like collaboration and this is an interactive piece, which means that it grows from the collective energy from burners near and far. The story-- Pappy's original bait shop burnt down. Although we never found Pappy's body, we're assuming that either he burnt up in the fire or took the opportunity to escape real life and start over. His widow was left behind. She's crazy. See, she was already pretty wacky to start with (probably why the Pappy running away theory is indeed very plausible) but with the fire and the Galleon crashing into the Pier, and losing her husband, she's gone absolutely bat shit. So my question to you-- what kind of bait would a crazy grandma have? I want your suggestions and ideas.

Hi!

I'm not sure if the build site is prepared to receive mail and I wouldn't want to burden the collective of artists working there with sorting and handling everybody's mail.

If you have something to contribute that you'd like to send to me, please do! You can PM me and I'll give you my mailing address. I just don't want to post it on the interwebs b/c I don't want to come home to some random hippie passed out on my porch. Not saying that I've never come home to hippies passed out on my porch, but I'd prefer a phone call first.

Thanks for the suggestions and keep them coming! I'm going to be scouring thrift stores and garage sales for sure! I asked my kids what they thought I should put in there and my 9 year old said cat corpses and shrunken heads. She's kinda sick.
