Who likes a nice peaty single malt ? I'm thinking of bringing this too for the " Spark One Up With Sparky McChuggleston " event Wed. night at the G Spot Party !!

Oooh... nice! I haven't tried Bowmore (or many others, yet). I'm a Scotch newb who loves it peaty and smoky. Islay is probably my region. My favourites of the few I've tried are Laphroig and Lagavulin.

I've had to give up red wine, which was one of the great loves of my life. I drink white now, which is mostly fine, but there's an itch it doesn't scratch. Scotch, with its richness and complexity, gives me a bit of what I'm missing.

I'd love to come by for a wee dram.

I'll probably have 3 single malts, so come by Wed night 10:30 - 1 am Thursday for a visit. We will most likely be pouring single malt very late at night on Friday and Sat. too ( not in the schedule ). And we do have plenty of great white wines - come by Friday afternoon for the 3rd annual " French Bistro Afternoon " for some white Burgundy and some white Bordeaux !!

Champagne, I think, is bad, but it's not really something I drank much before, anyway. My problem is histamine intolerance (in addition to red wine, I've had to give up aged cheese... which was probably THE greatest love of my life, at least in terms of comestibles).

Is there a time equivalent of a bag of holding? Because I think I'm going to need one for the playa...

WOW, I'm seriously excited that I found out about DOA! As a wine lover, it's a dream come true that you're on the Playa. I don't know how I missed you guys last year but I will definitely be stopping in to toast to your awesomeness.
