1) If you bring Salmiakki, please, never ever give it to meBut truth is some people might enjoy it.
2) If there is something I really love and miss, it is the mustard, you guys have such a great mustard!!!
If I remember right, it was Turun Sinappi - the red one I think...
And makkara!!! But it would be long shot to bring this
What city are you coming from?

yes, sorry, I forgot the spelling........Berry liqueur........
Not that I want it again, but, there is this black salty, licorice flavored vodka sort of stuff........I forget the name of that, too.
Kampela wrote:Salmiakki. That is so obvious thing to bring that I didn't even think about it. Excellent! I'll bring a few bottles.
Yup, salmiakki a.k.a. salty licorice is a bit of a opinion divider, specially when in comes to its drinkable form. Btw, salty licorice is a bit of an off-shoot as a term.
Salmiakki consists of ammonium chloride, sugar and medicinal black carbon (used as a colorant).

Kampela wrote:Turun sinappi, no problemo. I'll take a tube (yes...) with me. The sausage may get spoiled on the way. Tell you what, you bring the meat and i'll bring the condiments. Cool?

Squeaky cheese!! I had it in Helsinki and Roveniemi, but can't remember the real name.

Curd cheese?
On the shelf at every corner store here.... au naturel (nice and salty) or dusted with various spices. But most definitely squeaky.
(tho somehow I imagine the ones you reference to be much more exotic)
