I think it's important for EVERYONE, new burners and OLD to practice proper etiquette, and learn the pleasures of "Please" and "Thank You".....these two magic words are principles 11 and 12.
Just because some people may have different boundary lines, and are openly flaunting them, does NOT mean that it is the norm, or accepted , except maybe to a select few, and this does not give anyone the right to assume the lowest common denominator are the rules of the game.
This also applies to those predators out there that prey on the vulnerable, either via drugs or alcohol.
i have two daughters, i have told them 1000 times never ever leave their drink, and only take from trusted sources, and watch the pour....
Because if i catch any asshole taking advantage of a situation under the cover of General Free for All, i WILL hurt them, and THEN hand them over to the authorities.
i do have my exceptions to my no-violence rule.
