Little chance of recovering this 4-gauge

I believe, around 4 o'clock and Esplinade Wednesday evening when I dumped my bike and trampolined into a parallel universe for a few hours or seconds, depending on reference clock used (real or perceived, with no "real" really existing at that time, anyway, possibly, I think).Anyway, I loved that hefty little lock for the 5 days I got to use it, and it'd be the cat's pajamas to get it back.

I'm wearing my best pajamas right now. They're pretty great, but they were cheap and would be easy to replace if something were to happen to them. All in all, a poor analogy for recovering a lost item of great value.

Maybe I should invest in better pajamas. Or maybe it's LeChatNoir who has the famously excellent sleepwear.


It's funny that I even happened to visit this thread. I had kind of assumed it was about a damaged gun that had been irreparably damaged (is a 4-gauge a gun at all? I have no idea about these things. But it sounds gunny), so I had stayed away from it until this very moment. I think I actually just followed wh..sh in here.

Someone might correct me about this use of the term. I've never seen this wide-legged style before, but it's labelled as a kurta pajama on a Pakistani style blog, and it looks SO comfortable. A set of these might, in fact, be as good as recovering a dearly-beloved 4-gauge lock.

Pajama is technically derived from Persian word for loose fitting trousers (commonly used in Urdu and Hindi). I would suspect the British borrowed it from us and never thanked us for it Kurta is the tunic. The wide leg pajamas are very common in Pakistan and in India. They are incredibly comfortable.
