Facebook & Twitter Profile Links

You now have the option to add a link to your Facebook and Twitter accounts in your ePlaya profile! When you do, they will be displayed in the profile, view topic mini profile and in PM's mini profile. To set it up, go to your User Control Panel -> Profile page and enter the URL of your user pages on those sites.

Then click the 'submit' button to save the changes, and you should be all set. Other users will see links to your pages on your user profile (when they click on your name).

They will also see buttons linking to your Facebook and Twitter accounts in the mini-profile that displays alongside posts & private messages.

To remove the buttons/links, simply clear out those fields on your profile.

They're in the profile pages, not in the posts.

If you look at the pictures Trillo posted, it appears that they also should be showing up in the posts under your Avatar where all the rest of them show up.

@Nipple - it's more like accidental craftiness. The 'burning since' field was made mandatory on registration as a spammer prevention measure (it hasn't stopped them all, but it has slowed them down a bit). The site's fine for existing users who haven't filled in the 'burning since' info, until you go to update that page.

@junglesmacks - as of this writing, lemur doesn't have any additional accounts/options set up (beyond PM & email).

Argh! Google Chrome. It's the only browser I use that does that. I used to love Chrome but since the last update, it's sort of quirky. (or maybe it's just me. )

@junglesmacks - as of this writing, lemur doesn't have any additional accounts/options set up (beyond PM & email).

I don't even see a PM or email icon.. nothing. Everyone else though is fine.

Whoops, my mistake. I see those two options because of admin powers, you shouldn't see anything under his name.

If you fill out & enable everything, it'll wrap around to a second line of buttons. Personally I think that amount of being connected would drive me batty. I have accounts on other services, but don't use them socially very often… so they stay empty.
