Art grant recipients scalping early entry tix for $770

So In my attempts to find tickets for my group, which has gone well with many being offered at face value, I have come across an art grant recipient who is SCALPING two early entry tickets for $770 each.

Apparently they ned to get funds to finish their project and fly back to new york.

I offered them $500 each to cover their plane tickets, which only cost around $400, and offered to help with completing their art project.

The money is not the issue, but scalping early entry tickets, which they were entrusted with to complete their art project, for such high amounts is so against the core of what I believe burning man to be, that I can not support it.

Personally I think they should have their early entry passes revoked.

I would love to know who at burning man to notify of this situation.

Definitely report them to the email junglesmacks posted. Scalping of EA's isn't allowed by the Org- period. Last year groups could loose all their EA access if they were found to be trading or selling the passes.

This is something that would be considered "serious".
