2011 Afterburn Report is Live

The Afterburn is Burning Man's annual report, department by department, of the immense amount of human activity involved in creating Black Rock City -- from Finance Soup to Media Team nuts, from Gate on the way in to Exodus on the way out, to Art and DPW and every department in between...including a Regional Network rollup and the fastest-ever report of the 2011 Census results. Woot!

Who would I contact if there's an error in the census figures? The "Are you eligible to vote in the USA?" chart has two "not sure" in the legend and no "no". It's pretty easily to tell which is which but for the sake of clarity...

In the end, while it was a really painful process for everyone involved, we did sell more tickets than any previous launch day, and we were committed to making sure that people's voices were heard, and concerns addressed. For the most part, people were reasonable and understanding, and we helped everyone we could. There were of course a few bad apples, which honestly were a dark spot and incredible disappointment in the context of this otherwise shining community – we got a number of angry, hostile, and even abusive communications from folks. We even had one person go so far as to track down the personal cell phone number of the head of our ticketing partner's customer service team and issue verbal death threats.

Found another bug!

On the Legal Team write-up (http://afterburn.burningman.com/11/admin/legal.html), the last link is to the "2011 LEAL & Ranger Operations AfterBurn report." However, when clicked, the link requires a password to view. It links here: http://afterburn.burningman.com:81/11/playa_safety/ops.html, instead of here:http://afterburn.burningman.com/11/playa_safety/ops.html. The difference is the port (:81 instead of :80, the default if unspecified), I believe.
