You got the answers, sort of.

Cook the bacon, then fry bread in it. "Spak". Yummy. Probably works with tortillas too.

Cook other stuff in it, it is yummy!

Burn it off in your burn barrel. It is fuel. Same as those drippings on your BBQ that cause flair ups.

Mix it with Jack Daniels...and call me in the morning...

The Bakon vodka sucks. It is horrible.

Much better to add real bacon to vodka or whiskey.

Bacon Manhattans!

you will need:

about 1/4 C warm Bacon fat*
3 1/2 C decent to good bourbon

Pour grease and whiskey into a qt sized mason jar. Infuse at room temp for 5-10 days (depending on how bacony you want your bourbon), give it a good shake once or twice a day.

Once your bourbon is sufficiently baconized, chill for a few hours to solidify fat particles and strain through a wire mesh strainer.

Mix 1.5 oz with .5 oz sweet vermouth, shake with ice, strain into martini glass add a dash of bitters and a cherry. Voila! The Bacon Manhattan!

And being hedonists, we all know that a drink of this calibre deserves better than any old schwaggy maraschino, Go with something nice, like brandy macerated. The bacon bourbon deserves the respect of a decent cherry.

This beverage pairs extremely well with chocolate covered bacon, bacon wrapped dates stuffed with gorganzola and marcona almonds and peanut butter, jelly and bacon sandwiches.

*a note about bacon: bacon is like bourbon, there's the cheap shit, there's the decent shit, and then there's the good shit. Using fat from cheap bacon will give you a manhattan that tastes like cheap shitty bacon. I highly advise avoiding dealing with cheap bacon for any bacon related venture, but it is very important here to use high quality bacon. It really does make a difference.

Again... I am so, uh, frugal with my time, I cook up a few pounds at home, put it in the freezer (a perk of even an ancient motorhome --- as well as ice cream) and leave the grease there. Very little grease when I heat it for us on the playa. And, yes, it does taste bacony... And if you chop it up real fine, mix it with said ice cream and pour maple syrup on it... God, food for only the most worthy playa gods...

Did the pre-cooked bacon last year, it worked awesome, especially on days where I didn't even give enough fucks to care that I was eating a nice slice of ice cold (but crispy) bacon. Those with more self-respect can warm theirs up on the stove before consuming.
