Honestly - that made me angry. I have been part of too many "movements" that went down because of a media-hype or being overrun by yahoos. Good intentions aside - Talking about carrying the spirit out into the world just does not help. I need this!

Personal view time:

The issue that I take with Halcyon is that I feel like there's a certain growth of self absorption and ego feeding that's turning into a hypocrisy. The blogs are one thing.. but if you follow the overall picture, that's just one part of the bigger picture and someone that on one hand is proclaiming to be the guru of self-love and presents the all knowing/all burning persona.. and at the same time being a self admitted cocky bastard while commodifying the entire gig. The "As seen on" tag line should tell you something if you can get past the taste of vomit in the mouth from the entire picture.

While I try not to judge intentions without actions.. from what I see.. I don't trust the actions anymore as it appears to be an ever increasing infomercial in a much bigger campaign of self promotion.

It's so weird to me to see the strong emotions he brings out- I'm not a fan, but that's because I'm not a fan of most "hug and peace" spiritualism (and most religion, honestly); but I don't understand how me wasting time hating someone is going to change anything when it only effects me (unless of course you see them often & express hate, which is sociopathic IMHO). Only if they committed some heinous act of violence would I have a gut "hate" reaction, otherwise someone would have to actively attempt to get me to hate them for me to waste my time actually going there. It's so much easier to be indifferent to people who annoy you.
