Here's a rough idea of how the shade for this pod sets up.
Theres a pipe tacked on at each corner.

Slide a 1"x8' stick of EMT through each of those pipes clear to the ground.

A 10' stick of 1" with a stick of 3/4" inside makes the top rail.

The 3/4" slides out an extra 8'.

Now an 18'x30' heavy duty silver tarp will go over this structure from one side to the other.
We don't have the tarp yet, but let me explain.
12 and 1/2' from the side of the trailer, the 18' edge of the tarp will be staked to the ground with 24" rebar.
The tarp then goes across the trailer from one side to the other.
On that side, 14' from the trailer, rebar stakes with ratchet straps to tension the tarp tight.
The rope in these pictures represent where the 30' edge of the tarp will be.

Rope will be streched at the front and back to cabiner that edge of the tarp to.
Now the wind can flow over, or through this shade.
If he parks facing north, the pod will be in shade all day.
You could get as long a tarp as you want for more shade, but this gets you about 18'x25' shade footprint!!!
