Google Conference Sells out, Ticket Mayhem occurs

lalalala! hello!!

just figured itd be amusing to show another example of scarcity and ticket related stuff, as well as the ideas/things people say in response to it:

Those who did not get tickets were not only disappointed and angry, but mystified as to why they were left out of a first-come, first-served sale despite being online and ready to buy the second the bell rang.

"I don't want to sound like a crack pot conspiracy person, but were the tickets truly first come first serve? I tried 3 times at 7AM, 7:04, and 7:08 with no luck. My buddy tries at 7:10 for the first time and gets one. How is a company that brags about being instant not able to develop a proper queuing system"

apparently google has some conference, the tickets were sold first come first served in a queue style sale..

the interesting bit is the comments section..

just in the first dozen or so comments.. we see:

people claiming folks are buying just to re-sell
suggestions they do non-transferable tickets
suggestion they should do a lottery
giving tickets to only the true 'innovators' first
names on tickets suggestions

anyways.. yeah! fun to see that one come up..

At least they're getting totally original, never-before-heard-or-thought-of, creative, and well reasoned suggestions.

Or something.

When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bicycle.
Then I realised that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me.

Under the search bar. Only one ad, different each time.
