Actually, from what I'm seeing and hearing the other large scale sound camps are all coming in force this year. I saw one big newcomer (Basshenge) retreat, but it sounds like they'll either be camping with or joining forces with Osiris.

It's a shame Root Society commercialized their name though, makes it all seem like a branding ploy.

After lurking here for a long long time one of the things I wanted to see more than anything was Simon on stage at Root Society. Then the year I get to go, there is no Root Society. It's all a plot I tell you.

I really can not wait to finally see this. And I feel slightly goofy about this making me so happy. lol

you realize he is just the janitor, right?

all he does is clean up after the DJ's when their set is done.... sure, he might be on the stage, but.. he aint exactly rockin out the beats

I don't care what he does up there. There is a picture of him standing there looking out over the crowd and there is this expression of absolute peace on his face. One of those perfect moments where you can tell this person is in the happiest place for himself and is absolutely satisfied with life. It doesn't matter if you are a dj, a janitor, an asshole cook, a spectator, an artist, or an Indian chief. It's that perfectness of place and time in that picture that I want to feel.

"Just, all he does and aint exactly" are not nice words to use when describing someone. I've seen Simon in his natural habitat and both he and it kicks ass. I'm glad root society will be back.
