And don't try and tell me "apology" is it, Dick.

The bathroom could be done similar to a dishwashing machine, add soap, shut door and press the button.

Something close to this exists. It is primarily intended as an anti-scalding device. It cannot raise the temperature, but it lowers the temperature to a preset point by mixing in cold water. Mine is a Symmons Thermixer Tempering Valve. The maximum output temperature is adjustable from 85F to 160F, but there is no indicator of where it is set. The knob requires deliberate action to turn, so it's a set-it-once-and-forget-it kind'a thing.

They also have a cheap, fairly limited version of this for home shower enclosures. Press the button and close the door, it sprays tilex or something like it all over.

Star Trek has all those, so it will be here soon.

They would prolly never accept your apology anyhow, and I was gonna answer "white out" anyhoot.

If this software is free/cheap and from a reliable source, I'm all over it, and I'd be most grateful for the link. I did Google around a bit after I saw your post, and all I could find were things where I pay $20 per month for the option of being able to temporarily disconnect myself from the internet with a keyboard shortcut (I can unplug my own ethernet cable for free!). There also seem to be a few browser-specific apps that let you put your internet access on a timer (e.g. 25 minutes off, 5 minutes on). That might work... but if you know of something really good... well, I'd be grateful for the link

Sorry to take so long to reply - I lost track of this thread until just now.

This is one that I have used. Very simple. Very cheap. Works for me.
