I have come to terms that I am not getting a ticket this year.... Which really sucks. I was refreshing the page and once again I have been denied by the playa gods. The whole ticketing process just sucked this year for me. So I guess I will take the money I usually spend on BM and go somewhere else, "maybe" with some water! We got confirmation for ticket at 2.13pm PST. (edit: we got STEP acceptance confirmation at 12.02pm... really fast!)

We're so stoked, this is part of our honeymoon (yes, I know that's a controversial thing to do) and we're coming from Australia.
I feel so bad for those who will inevitably miss out though! Just keep trying for those tickets that will become available as the date nears...

Can't wait to see some of you there!

Interesting... my step confirmation was stamped 12:09 and yet I didn't receive any ticket offer?

Maybe we shouldn't assume the time stamp is that well related to our place in line.

Sorry sorry sorry... I misread. We got confirmation we'd been accepted for STEP at 12.02pm. We got the ticket offer at 2.13pm.

anytime anyone gets tickets, they should post what time they got into the Want list so we can get a general Idea where we sit. Congrats to those who already have tickets! 12:19 confirmation here. If I have to guess I'd say I'm between 1100 and 1400

Congrats to those who got tickets already! For those of us at the end of the 2000 Mighty Refreshers Queue, are we taking any bets? Will 1800 more tickets show up on STEP before August? That would mean that 5% of the 43,000 tickets sold in the Pre Sale and Lottery would show up on STEP. Do 5% of Burners with tickets not need their tickets AND need to use STEP? Maybe that's how fluid tickets really are, I'd be interested to know. Or maybe it's like a woman having a baby after 55.....a miracle! So should I pray for tickets or try to get pregnant? At least trying to get pregnant is pro-active and has action steps.

We are also from Australia - We got the confirmation mail at :08 after getting up early to log in

Judging by other people getting up to :19 ... i would be guessing we are about the 1000 mark i`d hope.


I would think at least the original 2000 should get tickets... Fingers crossed!

Q: I clicked the link right when STEP opened up at 12 noon PST, and the server was down. Why?
A: Our ticketing vendor had upped their cloud-based server farm up to 20 servers to handle the anticipated load, and brought in several IT consultants to help with the system architecture and load testing. Despite that, when thousands of people go at the same web page at the exact same time, as was the case here, even the sturdiest server configurations can fail (Bonnarroo and Coachella experienced the same problems with their ticket launches this year, in fact.). So, the system sputtered under the onslaught, but the team got it back online within minutes.

Like many of you I was contantly refreshing trying to get into the busy server. Just another EPIC FAIL. This blows!

Well, fuck me again. Started refreshing at 12:00, server crash, server crash and then a blank page. Over and over till I finally got through and the fuckin step was closed! WTF?????? Goddammit.....

I am way cool with snark and criticism and wit, but information claiming to come from someone in the know stating there are 17 tickets and 21000 wants is a little low. People simply want a ticket, I shoule dump your post as all it does is stir up the pot - and thats what you wanted.
