It's fun to watch certain people slam a question, then see a mod answer that question in the thread, then see that certain person quote from the answer as if it was there all along and why didn't the OP already see it. To thrive in BRC you need some grit--logistics are difficult and weather not always amiable....

You can to say that again, komrade... look at 2011 - simply ghastly. No 3 day whiteouts, temperature was pathetically balmy, no torrential downpour... It was perhaps worst weather on playa in long time...

This Has been a long grind, If any people are lucky enough to get tickets with STEP that are on eplaya should meet somewhere on the playa at a certain time to have a drink..Anybody agree?

If your camp does get tickets and you're able to purchase a ticket through that program, your STEP registration will be canceled at that time. If through some miracle you're able to purchase a non-transferable ticket through STEP and then your camp is awarded a ticket allotment, then your camp can cover another member instead of you.

This is the answer to my original question... An extremely unlikely, but statistically possible double dip

It's my understanding that once you purchase a non-transferable ticket in your name (via STEP), you would be unable to purchase another non-transferable ticket in your name. It is up to your camp leader to distribute ticket allocations from the directed ticket distribution program on an as-needed basis within your camp. Be clear that they are not distributing a physical ticket, but an individual/unique key that the recipient uses to purchase a non-transferable ticket.

If your camp does get tickets and you're able to purchase a ticket through that program, your STEP registration will be canceled at that time.
