Yeah, I know, we can't. But it's damn tempting...
ygmir wrote:yup, the ticket thing is weird, frustrating, disappointing, mysterious, enigmatic, unfair.........you pick.
But,
Does no one see the opportunity here?
The opportunity, to build community, to build friendships, to practice what we preach?
I see, the chance to go out of my way, to help others.
Beating the brush, looking in dark corners, under couch cushions, wherever, for those "extra" tickets, that we all know will be floating around, very soon.
Think, of the great feeling, if you find someone, somewhere (by searching and asking) with an extra ticket, and you hook them up, with a dear friend or campmate.
Imagine how you'd feel, if someone went that far, for you?
Look at how we can be a do-ocarcy!! \
We don't need no stinkin CL/epay......we'll find our friends some tickets, and well get 'em to the playa!!
Don't give up hope!!! for those "without".
There are those of us ( I'm hoping others will join in) that are working, to find you a ticket, and, make BRC, the place we love, with the people we love.
The finger pointing, name calling, and blame laying, are of no value, at the moment.......sure, later, look back and see how to improve things.....
But, for now, lets rally for our less fortunate comrades!!
Lets not wait for someone else, to do this, or provide a "service".
Let's make it, so our friends are with us, on the Holy Playa R
no whining, no crying, no blaming......grab your damn boot straps, pull'em up, and get to work, helping those dear to us!!!
and.
Don't give up: It Aint over..........
wait here:

No kidding. I really thought burners were more resilient...
