Hello From Forum Troll

Hi I'm Axel

I have been trolling the forum since 2006. I posted twice in almost 6 years.
So I thought I would introduce myself.

My playa name was one of my most memorable gifts - Axel. All I had my second year was a zebra bandana and playa dust for "costume". Turned out to be a nice rocker vibe so to go with that wild side in me and the name stuck ever since.

I've lived in China for 10 years and originally from the Mid-West. I was introduced to BM by a great group of close friends in Reno, part of Martini Village. My first year I felt like I landed on the moon, and was pretty afraid of and overwhelmed by the playa. The first year I hung around camp and did a lot of sleeping/hiding. I was really kind of afraid of the sensory overload. I made three years in a row, progressively becoming a more active contributor. I stopped going until last year.

I like tent camping. I did some camping in China too, slightly different here but there are some really beautiful places to camp.

I love the randomness of the playa. It reminds me about the importance of an open mind but also to enjoy being random myself.

The community at BM at the event and in default world has been inviting and gracious. Thank you for that.

With that said I'm glad to introduce myself here, even if 6 years overdue. Wishing you all the best for 2012 and looking forward to being there again this year to participate and also see the amazing things that people are working hard on.

I was very lucky to have gone again last year and certainly plan on being there again this year.

I think you mean that you've been a lurker, not a troll. A troll is somebody who puts out bait, usually a post with inflammatory content, with the hopes that somebody will respond to it in a way that is unflattering to him/herself. Trolls need attention. They need validation. They need to go to Burning Man.

Trilobyte - I danced until sunrise every day and often through bloody mary parties. I lived 3PM to 11AM. 2011 was magic!
