The big news of course is that the registration period for the Burning Man tickets Main Sale starts this coming Monday! Registration is open for two weeks until January 22nd. All you have to do is go to http://tickets.burningman.com at your leisure during that two week period and register.
During this phase, 40,000 ticket purchases will be awarded by a random selection process, which will run when registration closes. We've got full details below, and on the Tickets page -- make sure you (and your Burner friends) read up on the details so you know what to expect!
And as you register, we appreciate your filling out a short survey we've included in the process; the information collected will contribute to greater understanding of our community and how to accommodate the widest range of needs during ticket sales-- both this year, and in the future. So thanks!
The Main Sale will be followed up by the Open Sale in March. No registration is required during that phase - we'll offer the remaining 10,000 tickets (and any that are unclaimed during the Main Sale) on a first-come, first-served basis (limit 4 per person) -- while supplies last. Remember, no tickets will be sold at the gates or at outlets this year, and physical tickets won't be mailed out until early summer. Deep breaths, we're almost there!
