Um, yeah. I just searched a little and found less-than-interesting info on the 4th non-event. Some pics too on Flickr and what not...looks like individual campers, no one else in sight. Hmm. No potties? Sounds shitty. I'll pass after all.

If anyone needs an excuse to visit the playa on July 4th as mentioned in another thread the friends of High Rock Black Rock are doing a hot springs thing. So when not hot springing it with them, I might drive the playa seeing who else is around.

And I suppose I should take this opportunity to say my offer to burners, a place to camp for free, is good all year.

Wow, Pinemom, and I thought they only allowed radically cool, accepting, non-judgmental types in Controlled Burn, too. I'll be sure to stop by Wed. at Moana and say "hi". We did the Rendezvous without relying on potties. Not wimps, just reserving time and funds for projects 'til the Burn.

Along the current lines, don't pee on the playa. But if you accidentally do, try not to step in it as it will really adhere to your shoes/boots/toes. Oh, and really be careful not to face plant into said puddle either.
