Did you lose a blue Maglite in the porta potty?

Around midnight Thursday night, in the porta potties between Coming Out & Divorce at 7:30, did you forget your brand new blue 18" Maglite, with brand new batteries, still lit, in the porta potties? It would have been impossible to forget that you had your flash light with you, and it was still shining down there inside the porta potty. Because this porta potty was barely used, it was still very clean. It would have been very easy to fish your hand in with a piece of toilet paper to bring it out, and wipe it off. Since it was brand new, and all.

It sure would have been easy to get it out yourself, versus a pain in the ass for the porta potty cleaners to have to rescue it later, after it would have been covered in shit and jammed their hoses. I know it was easy for me to get it and clean it.

So was that you? Did you forget your maglite?

Because if so, sorry, but I'm keeping the fucker.

I've seen the result of someone retrieving something out of the jots. You see someone with an arm up to here in blue, well, you know. It would have to be something damned important to get me to go fishing in Blue Lake, otherwise, well, it would be a sacrifice to the Jots Gods.

If you have gloves, that's one thing. Bare handed, blue water fishing is quite another. But, like you said, the potty was relatively clean and the magic blue water is a rather powerful disinfectant and deodorizer and will neutralize pretty much any bodily fluid borne disease that comes into contact with it.

I had my own fishing expedition in our camp potties this year. Thankfully it happened 30 minutes after the bank had been serviced and I had the appropriate tool (thank you Commissar) for such a mission.

Robbidobbs may correct me later, but one thing you can do if you see a large, unpumpable object in a porta potty is utilize a flat head screwdriver to lock the unit from outside with the turn lock or simply ziptie the unit shut and put a warning sign on the door for the United Services guys to let them know there is a "bad thing" in the potty.

I will say the public potties I visited this year were in damn near pristine condition so major kudos to the Porta Potty Project and Robbidobbs and USS for keeping that very important feature of the event in good condition.

When I asked if I should have felt guilty for not pulling it out she told me; "No, not without a grabber"
