I read all these posts and am sad that most are getting a poor image of what once was nothing but a wonderful experience.

If you read all these posts, why did you find it necessary to start a new thread suggesting what has so often been suggested before? Okay, maybe nto the year round thing.

I am beginning to suspect that people who start their own threads simply want to be the acknowledged savior of the event, rather than solving the problem.

There is more demand than there is supply. In order to make them available all year, you'd have to price them well out of the reach of most participants. Absolutely not the kind of event that Burning Man has ever expressed interest in being, in my opinion.
