I too, met many new folks, some non-eplayans, and, saw lots of old friends. I met so many, unfortunately between my age, fun in the 70's, and sheer numbers, I can't remember everyone I met........all the faces, for sure, but, seems some of the names have already slipped........

The memories fade a wee bit, but there was this one chick who, as I was about to light a smoke, asked if she could bum one and said, "I usually smoke the clove kind but nobody sells them in this part of Nevada." Whaddyaknow,,,, I gave her a clove cigar(ette) and she about creamed her jeans and gave me the biggest hug and a smooch. I have no clue who she is though,,,, sighhhh.

Then, I vaguely remember patting down BBS to make sure she wasn't packin' heat,,, and then the fog rolls in upon my memory. when some people said we'd eat at the meet and greet, it was with the assumption each of us would be contributing to that potluck. knowning it was a potluck and also assuming it was the 'eplaya' bunch of us that knew what it was about. other camp members, i understood, would making other arrangements. i brought stuff to contribute and got my name tag.

Transdermal Dehydrated Vodka Infusion... Is sekret Apokiliptika weapon, originally developed for Polonium, but our testers kept getting sick and dying (from the flu!), the Vodka was first tested on the U-ME/DoomSTAR™ joint mission, but was decided it was cheaper to send up Dehydrated water...

BTW, and, um, during that frisk, I may not have been packing heat, but It was getting pretty... um... warm!! .

I had this sausage thingy, like meatballs? It was awesome. Oh yeah, someone also had some, I think it was venison or elk or something that was to die for... got a taste of that. But yeah, I was too busy socializing to eat (tho I did end up holding an absinthe bottle for a while... WHEEE!!!!!)

Hola all,
For those that don't know me I am the co-ordinator/ hard nosed bitch/ sucker who will be organising the 2012 M&G.

I read ALL your comments about 2011 and your ideas for the next one.

Decided to try to clear up the logistics of how 2012 will run first. Then we can focus on the fun part, what will we be bringing and wahat will we do in 2012.

Personally I can't be arsed in going over old ground about the logistics of the event. So, I've had a chat to Doc Pyro and he has given me his blessing to get the show on the road for 2012 in the manner that I see fit. So if you don't like what I am proposing take it up with me not him.

Broad parameters as to how the logistics of M&G will run in 2012

1. It will run from 6-9pm on the Thursday night (the extra hour is getting added in so that we can deal with dodgy weather etc) at BDC&WB.
2. It will not be a "private function" by name, but will in effect be a "private function". By this, we will have a semi-roped off area, signs that say "eplaya potluck event" (or something like that) name tags, and some door bitches to hold back the tide of humanity if that is necessary.
3. The gourmet food and special drinks will be served by eplayans in the roped off area - peeps might like to stage the serving of treats in a special order throughout the event - we can deal with that later.
4. Plus 1's welcome.
5. Shy and unregistered eplayan's welcome - just bring something to share, or be involved in some other way - such as being a part of the clean-up crew, serving food, or bringing ice, etc etc.
6. We will have a clean-up crew. I've had some volunteers. I will be in touch with those volunteers and also call for some more. To make the clean up easier we will have a mini-clean up at 7pm and 8pm involving everybody.
7. We will need a crew of door bitches/door quizzers. A few peeps have nominated to do that kinda thing already. Yah!
8. We will have an extraordinary amount of fun.
9. We need ideas for some party games - something like "pin the quote on the eplayan", that kind of thing. Ideas pls
10. I will not get totally smashed and need to be put to bed before midnight. I had to be put to bed at about 8.30 this year

Minor tweaks to the above wil be agreed to if they add value.

Actually, I wasn't the one that passed them out. mrpatatomoto took it upon himself to arrange them neatly on the table and made sure people all got theirs. He did such a great job and he made me feel so guilty because I didn't make one for him. (though I will be mailing him one along with several others that were requested).
