A Chai Latte is when Americans made a good strong spiced tea and add milk to it because it is too much information for their taste-buds to process.
There are also Chai Latte cheats, which I think are abominations, like powdered Chai or condensed Chai. Both are just as good as any literature republished by Readers Digest.

I, too, wanted to stop by and say hello, However, on the day I came past I had to compete in a sling-shot competition up the street, and on the return trip, I'll admit it, I lost my nerve. Seemed a laid-back time of day, and not the right time to come in and say hello.
