That youtube video is pretty interesting as they went to 8 days in the testing and rated the coleman extreme as "best bang for the buck". Although several of the coolers tested outperformed it, they were much pricier.

I've never much worried about the quality of field rations, only the quantity. Perhpas it's time to change the point of view.
Meals will be planned and packaged ahead of time, to minimize the need for grazing, with plenty of non-perishable and portable items stored separately.
Access control shouldn't be a problem, as there will only be two of us in camp, coolers will be secured any time we're away, and my daughter and I both understand self-discipline. Usually.
Cooler cozies. Hmmm. Unfortunately for me, creative crafting falls into the same category as brain surgery - not my forte. They sound cool, though (If you'll pardon the pun).
