money pack - is it a scam??

someone on craigslist offered a pair of bm tickets for a good price, but wants to do the transaction via moneypack. it looks like a part of paypal. is it legit? am i protected??

also, I was dealing with someone who was going to do a cash transaction & the backed out and kept trying to get me to send them a money pack card code. Once you give that code out, it's like handing someone your cash and there's no recourse.

the only way it's tied to paypal is you can use it to refill your paypal account if you dont have a bank account linked to paypal.
