hey hookagod, last year was tough to find a good circle true. I came upon 3 or 4. There was one in center camp - can't remember the day, but the drummers were playing latin beats and particularly picky (this is another way of saying they were asshooooles if you tried to sway to African, Indian or other styles) I actually had one come up and yell at me in limited English telling me to leave. Not a whole lot of comradere, patience, love, and all that sh*t you have at normal drum circles. I started or happened upon one or two at the fire camp and the fire artists loved us. That said, if you bring your djembe, I'll bring mine and we'll likely find others but beware the sun/heat on your drumhead and drunked out/ stoned beserkers who may adopt your drum when not in your hands - again, beware your drumhead! And expect your rope lacings to return with you dirty as hell.
