NYC Weekly Wednesday Happy Hour

Hi guys

Im from London and will be flying into New York a week before Burning Man. Are there any Burners who would like to hook up in New York and have a beer or three with this newbie and share some laughs and friendship before the big event a week later?

We have the NYC Happy Hour every Wednesday night, usually at Revival, 129 east 15th st. 6 or 7 til people go home. Last one before the burn may move to another location, so stay in touch.

Hi all!

Posted a couple of times but wanted to make a note here to introduce myself (inter-tubular-ly) and to try and meet a few of you in meatspace.

Three burgins (myself included) will be headed to Double Down Saloon tonight for the happy hour, even though I haven't seen anything announced on the announce/discussion lists or site for a while.

My avatar here is a photo of me, and I'll be with a ginger English girl who looks too nice to be in that sort of place. I'm not sure how to describe the third member of our party, other than to say she's got dark hair and a warm smile.

Anyhow, hope to meet some of you soon!

Have fun!!! The bartender is a burner. It's a pretty chill bar. It should be a good time. Maybe I'll catch you out there in the coming weeks!!

There are some good beer/shot specials before 8pm.

Had a great time - met a few veterans and burgins and generally enjoyed a reason to make new acquaintances regardless!

Will be trying to make it out to these every week - not all are guaranteed, but the effort will made. Also planning on heading to the Kostume Kult Happy Hour events when I see them posted, so introduce yourself if you see me around!

Where are the Burner HH now? I know you guys switch it at times. I will be visiting the end of the month. I've only been to the ones at Revival.

You'll definitely want to connect with the NYC regional group directly (either through their mailing list or FB group) for all the details on local regional events (to the best of my knowledge, the Regional Contacts are not active on the site), but my understanding is that the weekly happy hours are held at the Double Down Saloon (Avenue A at Houston).
