Speaking strictly, the BLM requires permits for commercial photography anywhere on its lands.

Thanks Bob, I didn't know that. Weird though. I wonder which is cheaper, a mining claim where photography is reasonably necessary, or a photography permit? The BM ticket or a photography permit?
