Can anyone please tell me if there will be an ATM on the Playa? I really don't like to carry around large sums of cash and would feel better if I could just hit the ATM a couple times during the week.

Many items you can just charge to your camp's account and settle up later at the end of your stay with us.

Think of this like a really dusty cruise ship. You can use your room charge for all of your playa needs. Just show your camp key and you are good to go!

I am so pleased we're getting straight answers here.

Mutant Vehicles (MV's) only take cash.

In past years there was an ATM at center camp, but this year, I believe it is cleverly hidden in one of the 12 dozen temples.

Sweet. Iâ€™m also going to get that beverage plan. You know the one where you buy a cup when you get there and they you can get it refilled at the bar for free. I know the beverage plan is a good deal, we did it on our last cruise. The only problem is that this usually takes a major credit card. I was considering keeping money in either my sock or a money belt, but this would be very obvious on Thong Thursday.

I guess if you really need the extra cash you could get it from the either of the two food courts. Last year they had two, one at the 3 oclock plaza and the other at the 9 oclock plaza. Good luck.

THAT'S GREAT NEWS. Unfortunately if there are twelve dozen temples that means 144 different possible locations. Is there a map or something showing where it is? Possibly this could be included in the welcome pack with the map? Just a suggestion.

Not sure if you were serious about your ATM question, but there are no ATM's anywhere near the playa. Bring whatever cash you need for ice and coffee, which is the only thing sold on the playa.

There's one more kind of ATM action that I shall not describe.
I just learned the term from Sweetpea (!!!) last week. She learned it from one of her erotic novels. My books typically feature rocketships, exploding battle fleets, relativistic hyper-drive, and rishathra.
