Hey All,
Can someone recommend a place that sells new, food-grade 55 water barrels to ship to Reno or in the Reno area? My camp needs at least six new barrels for our water, but we're wary of refurbished ones (e.g Twin City Surplus) as they have a pickle aftertaste.
Where have you gotten your water barrels in the past?
Thanks!

Twin City = used water barrels = pickle aftertaste. Any other suggestions either in Reno or that ship cheaply to the Reno area?

buy the new ones, they come in different sizes, not sure what makes you think all they have is pickle barrels.

If you think you're gonna use a 55 gal barrel for water you better plan accordingly. Once you fill it, it's gonna be stuck right where you filled it. Consider using 2 smaller barrels or some other arrangement.

Use bottled water for drinking & cooking, and the homeopathic pickle water for washing. Counteracts the mythical alkali effect.
