This might sound like a dumb solution, but start trying to use your other hand for cutting. It will feel terribly awkward at first, but one huge advantage of doing this is its effect on the brain. Developing those new neural pathways is one of the best exercises you can do for your brain, and it helps to fend off ahlzheimers too!
