I am looking forward to coming to The Playa this next year in 2011... I am hoping to network with other Jewish burners who want to have a Kosher camp. I would love to join a theme camp or village that is Kosher minded
Is there a list of Kosher theme camps? I'm not kosher but I don't mind it. I was just thinking of how much of a pain in the ass it would be if some of my friends decided to come next year who are kosher. If you guys wouldn't mind another couple guys there maybe I can pass them off to you. This way I can continue to be friends with them (friends have been known to become bitter enemies after spending 8 days together on the playa).
My camp recipes are pretty much all kosher anyway, or easily can be and I can always just take my camp kitchen stuff to a mikvah before we leave if not.
I personally would love to stop by and give you guys a hand setting up your camp but don't think I would stay. Depending on your personal interpretation of the Torah saying shtuping is a mitzvah (note it does NOT specify it has to be with your wife). Had a great time with that discussion in Yeshiva before getting kicked out of class and going to the principles office.
I wouldn't want an issue to arrise

if I came back to camp with a shiksa.
TIP: If you have a large Sukkah with a steel or sturdy foundation that might work well at BM if you cover it with a silver or aluminite tarp.
