Temple idea: gateways

Picture a ring of gateways, each opening into the center. Each gateway named for a type of ritual or expression, labelled in opposing pairs. So one gateway might be the gateway of remembrance or of forgetting depending on which way you pass through.. These could be based on former temple names.

In the center of the gateways, a unifying structure of three graceful (climbable) spires. These would also be named.

Someone would be able to use this to construct their own ritual - enter through the gate of tears, circle the towers of love and joy, pass through the gate of laughter and exit through the gate of remembrance.

Within these very broad parameters, artists are encouraged to submit SEPARATE proposals for any gateway or the central structure they would like to build. They propose the name, attribute pair, design, build plan, and preferences for burn plan. (A pyro group would need to be responsible for the overall coordinated burn plan.) The top N are selected by committee influenced by public poll. The number of gateways is subject to the number of really great submissions and could expand or contract within some range.

I like it! the idea of making your own ritual out of the gateways and spires, could be very interesting/ cathartic

Gateways are easy enough to build; every theme camp should have their own, and not expect the Temple to provide.
