Entrance signs/poems on main road into playa?!

Postby Emergence » Mon Nov 15, 2010 6:19 pm

Hello!
Can someone please refer me to the poems that were in long form on multiple signs along the main road into the Playa this year. I believe one of them was from Aldous Huxley while the other might have been from someone with the first name of Linda?....

Any help is much appreciated!!!

I may have one of the signs, but don't think its part of a poem.

good luck seems like you already know far more than I. I do recall seeing the quotes had proper cites on them though.

These signs were like the old Burma-Shave signs from years ago. They were not poems usually, but interesting sayings and rhymes, meant to keep drivers entertained.
At the entrance road to BM, there were so many signs, that I don't think anyone took pictures of all of them.

The spacing didn't work too well for me on Sunday night/Monday morning, by the time I got to the next one I forgot what the last one said.

I know I saw the Evolution ones somewhere online. I would love to see those again.
I probably bookmarked it before my old computer crashed.
