When one of my camp mates was asked how she was doing during the dust storm at the burn she said:

"I need the magic only Fernley can provide".

Still has me giggling.

And from a first time burner who chose her boyfriend/burn mate/tent mate poorly:

"I would rather be at work!"

And from someone I chatted with on the way to the Porta Potties
"I am going to do some drugs tomorrow. I haven't done any drugs in five years...except for Pot, Ecstasy, and Cocaine on occasion."

And heard many, many times, in regards to our very visibly placed "MINORS FUCK OFF" sign on the bar...

yes sorry that was our only encounter. I had a horrid conflict of plans on Thursday for the meet and greet. couldn't pass up on a dinner seating at Sacred cow. I Did meet a few others OED, Mr. Jellyfish Mister, and a few others on burn night.. hope your burn was awesome.

One of the random exchanges between myself and Bob's Rainforest.

They're playing on their megaphones one night, while I'm working on our art car. I decide to goto my supply tent and grab my megaphone. I immediately yell to them, "You are no longer a unique snowflake". They laughed and responded with other 'Fight Club' quotes. I take the megaphone back to the art car, just in case.

I misplaced my beer mug, so I grab my megaphone and yell to them, "Hey, did I leave my beer over there?". I hadn't been to their camp at all, they also found this funny. After a bunch of random things spurted through their megaphones, I eventually heard an invitation to join them. So, I walk over there with my megaphone and proceed to have a megaphone fight with one of their camp mates. After that was done, I heard (for the first time, but not the last), "Man, you fit right in with this camp". They then asked me where my cup was. Shit, I forgot to bring a cup. This was one of the camps that decide to bring a keg instead of single serving alcohol. I stumble back to my tent, find my beer mug, and my beer bong. I decide to hide the mug and return with my beer bong, stating that I had brought back my cup.

One of the camp members says, "I like the way this guy parties".
