Even I get exhausted trying to find a specific technical fact, and then I have to read another forty pages to see if it was correct?

And it must be completely ridiculous to new people.
I know I didn't even try to look through these boards when I had limited internet access, which I would remind you is still the case for most people.
I hate the idea of someone acting on information I posted, that I was unable to correct.
That happened again recently.
Will everyone see the correction, pages later?
Life is hard enough.
Why not use the tools we have to make it easier?
