"Yes, I'm ready to create the 5th annual Burning Man Big Sound Camp Music Calendar! But I can't do it without you! I know it's early, but let's just say I couldn't be a real librarian without a *little* OCD on my side...

PLEASE help me help YOU rawk the playa by sending me coordinator contact info, current or future online posts/sites/links for line-ups or any other tidbits that will lead to the best music schedule ever! List will of course be posted once again on many a web site near you!

NEW THIS YEAR! LIVE MUSIC SCHEDULE!
Ok, I've heard and listened to the playa voices! And since I am in the biz of making people happy, this year I will attempt to make an *additional* schedule of all the live music camps. SO, if you know of camps who will have a stage and schedule for bands to play live, let me know. Oh, and, cuz you are a smartypants, you decide how to define "live" vs. "thumpy thumpy."

I'll be getting lots o' emails about this, so please, when you message me @ rockstarlibrarian (at) yahoo (dot) com include:
1. Camp Name, Camp Location
2. designate as live music or big sound camp/electronic music (& genre)
3. schedule/links to schedule and/or contact info for said schedulers

I was lucky enough to see the rough draft this morning and it is looking great. The lovely rockstar librarian Kate has put everything together in a lovely new format this year and promises to post the lineup early next week, to ensure that people with early entry can print a copy for themselves. I'll also be running around Nexus with her Monday night so we can provide on playa copies to people that would like one and promise not to let it become moop.

As always, once the list is posted she and I will be posting links in the forums here.

My response to seeing the rough draft in my email was that I must print it and drool over it. I got to feel so special. Really my only contribution was providing Kate with a super version of my unofficial placement list with camp contact information added it to better aid her in hunting down music info.
