Is it me, or does it seem like there's an increase in live music on the playa?

Love this town!

I hope so. But this will be our fifth year with the bluegrass jam. Some years we have two of them, one early, one late. This year only one, though.

I believe I noticed an improvement in the music the last two years over the previous two, and I'm doing what little I can to support that trend!

Actually, if you want to come by early we are hosting a reception for couples getting married on the playa this year and they are our guests of honor at the bluegrass jam. The guests are those who have coordinated with the playa wedding coordinator (Armadillo) but you are always welcome to drop in and say hello and give your congratulations.

By the way, this event will not appear in the WWW, we didn't decide on a day until it was too late. It is on the online playa calendar, though.

Wow, that's kind of interesting you should mention them. I was just doing searches on Daft Punk helmets last night.

Any and all artists with fiddles, mandolins ( we generally have enough guitars and this is not really "folk" so much as real bluegrass) bass, harp, whatever are invited to perform on Thursday at 2pm at Iron Rose, 4:30 and A directly behind KSVERT Radio. Bring your instruments and JAM!
