I remember in years past that I could watch the city being built through 'The Burning Blog'. It helped me get by on the final weeks before departing for BRC. This year, there hasn't been any.

DPW is still getting acclimated to the playa.

This involves a case of a whiskey a day for 8 days, and coming down from that drunkeness with an ounce of meth each

[Playa Foot]

I was on the playa last Wsdnesday, The gold spike was put in on Sunday and they were in the process of surveying the streets. There were only a few DPW folks on the playa with mre working up at the ranch. It is amazing to think that in only three weeks a whole city will exist out there.
