I certainly felt foolish when I saw your thread in Art and Performance.

It was a pretty standard line. Newbies come here and want to dj. I figure they should know the score and concentrate on having fun. Can you imagine spending 7 days in the desert going from venue to venue trying to find an opportunity.

I'm guessing that you're not actually part of the camp, just a forum troll. But, regardless, thank you for your 2 cents.

I camped next to these guys in 08. Their bartender got me totally trashed one night. Anyways, I asked them then if I could spin on their tables since I was a DJ without a venue. They let me spin when their DJs were all recovering from the night before. They are good peepz and everyone had fun. So, while they're still in their planning stages, I wanted to throw this out there...

Re: Spinning... there shouldn't be any problem finding you a spot to spin. Our DJ Todd Spero is the man to chat with (you remember him from 2008), and I bet he'll love to spin at you deep playa party....
